Thank you for trusting my studio to capture this amazing moment in your life. Maternity photos are soft, focusing on the ever growing belly.  You may bring some of the items you will use with your newborn, such as shoes, clothes and stuffed animals.

 

If you prefer outdoors we will focus on a perfect outdoor setting, I know tonnes of areas that will take your breath away around this city.  I scout for hours in the summer, to find the very best places.

 

I can also offer perfect in-home photos if that's your choice, and I can even shoot at your house or in your nursery. (See lifestyle pricing for in home sessions. Due to amount of equipment needed to shoot this kind of session.)

 

I focus on simple immaculate details and the beauty of your pregnancy. Feel free to bring dad along and to have him included in the shots! The rest of the family can come along too! A maternity session, while it can be filled with both emotion and sometimes a little discomfort, is one of the most amazing magical miracles a human being can ever experience. {Belly Scheduling}

 

Pregnancy sessions are best when your tummy is nice and round and you are still feeling well. This can be anywhere from 32-36 weeks, however sessions can be held safely up until your pregnancy is 38 weeks.

 

If you are on bed-rest, please don't hesitate to contact me. I can always do a session "on location" whether that be at your home, or in the hospital. Imagination is something that I am good at, and we can always work together to come up with a positive solution to acquiring your maternity photos. (In this instance use above pricing as a bonus to the poor bed bound Mother.)

 

I am able to also capture your pregnancy progression in a month to month progression basis. We can begin this amazing journey as early as the first month of your pregnancy. (Please request pricing information for this.)

 

{Session Information}

 

Comfort is the word to describe our clothing choices for your maternity session with me.  I strongly recommend you stay clear of any clothing items that are tight enough to leave any type of marks on your belly/skin. I prefer to shoot maternity sessions in nude or natural colors, so beige, creme, white or black or soft pastels are preferred. If you are a mom that would like to show a little more, tub tops and matching bra/panty sets are preferred. The focus of your session will be on the belly of course, but that doesn't mean that you should have to steer clear of the more feminine side this point in your pregnancy.  Sheer dresses or loose vintage baby dolls are adorabe on pregnant women.  I also love tight fitting dresses to accentuate your shape!

 

I also am able to offer a maternity gown for you to use during your session. This gown are also blue I am currently working on a pink one.  I can order you in special gowns to use for the session for $70 extra cost.  I will be adding more gowns in the comming year.

 

Professional hair and makeup are recommended but not required, if you would like this booked please let me know.  There is an additional $100 fee for this option.  Truly though as long as your hair is neat and make up natural, to dramatic, depending on your personal style it will look great.  Please don't skip the makeup some is needed to enhance your look.  Undereye coverage to hide the lack of sleep, a bit of spot coverage, a coat of mascara, powder, blush and lip gloss can complete the look naturally and easily.  

 

Upon booking a session all factors of the session will be discussed, such as the style of session, clothing, personal requests and desired photo outcomes. Partners, children and even pets are welcome.
